I'm working on tutorials on Office and Web and would be great to this software. I've seen it in action at a client and liked it a lot.

Recently we got a call to our tech desk help line from a faculty member. She had a multi-legged creature in her computer screen. In it. Yep, it was actually behind the glass on her monitor.

I know that screencasting is a great way to capture bugs in the software maintenance stage of the SDLC. So, I'm just wondering if it could have helped us "locate" her bug and fix it. Hee, hee.

Seriously, I need some Camtasia to document usability issues in the world's best LMS, Moodle. And to help train busy faculty!

I use Jing already and love it. I'm actually going to be purchasing the Pro version at the end of the week. With me delivering more and more video on my site, Camtasia would be an awesome thing to have and use for editing.

I'd love a copy.

I run a Chamber of Commerce in a very underserved, rural area of Tennessee. It is important to keep up with the trends of the internet. Snagit and Camtasia are perfect for creating videos that would help our county present itself in the best light. As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words!

I am just now offering digital coaching to my clients. I've been using Jing to set up short "How to ..." videos for my subscribers. "How to paste from Word into Wordpress" "How to set up GMail as a central inbox"

My clients love it. I love doing it.

But Jing ties my hands when it comes to editing. I would love to have Camtasia Studio to present a truly polished product.

I use snag-it, jing and screencast , at work, but for my personal WP blog i've just started, which aims to help out young business people to the marketing agency world - I would really benefit from having this suite of tools to help teach and give work productivity tutorials!!!

I would love to be able to extend tech training for our church with the use of these software pieces. It's hard to get everyone together & creating tutorials would be fantastic - passing on the knowledge with digital technology.

I teach distance learning courses for a community college (Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver). I would love to be able to create video tutorials for my students but the cost of Camtasia has been prohibitively expensive. Since I do not see the students in class, I have to create my notes with screenshots and typed instructions - not the most effective tool for explaining how to perform tasks.

I also am a freelance web developer and often have to walk clients through a task via the phone, which can be frustrating for both myself and the client. Creating video user guides, walking them through updating their own site, would be much more user-friendly and empowering for the clients, also allowing them to save and rewatch the video at their own pace.

I would love to have both SnagIt and Camtasia. They are great tools, I have used them both in the past. My budget is pretty tight right now, and free software would make a great present :)

I'm bootstrapping my wordpress hosting/consulting business to help give non-technies a voice on the internet by helping them set up blogs/websites.

My inspiration for this has been my own experience with WordPress and the greater blogging community - it's motivated me to pursue a career doing something I love, instead of settling for an office job for financial security.

It would be great to be able to use the best of the best to create the tutorials I've been preparing.

I've been looking at screen capture software for a while, but its a little too expensive while being a student. Either that, or the feature set is lacking to do a useful screencast.

Often on forums people will request how to get a around a certain problem either with a 3d app, photoshop, or more general things. In the past I've used wink, but having Camtasia would allow me to edit, embed, and share the files easier.

I've also been building a new tutorial site that will focus on Swift 3d, a 3d companion to Flash. A video capture solution would really help. And to supplement the screencast, I would need to take screenshots quickly without going into a bigger image editor such as Photoshop, which is where Snagit would fit into the picture.

At any rate, its cool that you're giving this away, someone will be very happy with it. I've tried the demo in the past, and the software is really easy to use.

I've been hearing lots of good things about Camtasia... it seems like all my tech acquaintences are using it to create little screencasts for training. I'd like to be able to create software training videos for use within my company, but don't have any room in the budget just now.

I've made tutorial videos for various products but only using camtasia 5. It would simply be fantastic to get hold of the latest. having the high def capability would rock. I love doing top quality work.

I've never used Snagit and havent had the funds for it yet... hey, I'm sure it's a great system and would be thrilled to get it from you. I know I would make good use of it.
